MedWish Medworks hosted its annual vision clinic on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic’s Cole Eye Institute. More than 125 patients received 268 services, including vision exams, technician visits (testing of eye pressure, motility, and visual acuity), glasses, and flu vaccines. All services were provided free of charge.

The clinic is a much-needed service in our community. Approximately 70-percent of those who attended do not have vision insurance, and 29-percent have no medical insurance. In total, our vision professional volunteers donated nearly $39,000 in services, and 121 patients will receive free glasses.

One patient told us he hasn’t been able to drive in decades because he can’t pass the eye test, With his new glasses he will save a significant amount of money he spends on drive-sharing to get to and from construction jobs.

Don’t miss our 2-Day Dental + Medical Clinic, November 21 and 22, at the Huntington Convention Center. Doors open at 7 am.
