Thank you to those who were able to join us at FWD Day + Nightclub on Saturday, June 10th to help us celebrate three decades of MedWish during our annual fundraising event!

Celebrate 30 years of MedWish!

Since our inception in 1993, we have served 116 countries, reduced waste for a healthier planet, engaged thousands of local volunteers, and impacted millions of lives around the world.

Our goal for this special evening was to celebrate MedWish International and highlight those who have been impacted by our mission to save lives and the environment over the last 30 years.

Meet Maya Shome

2023 Kayla N. Schwartz Award Recipient

Maya is a devoted MedWish volunteer. She and her mom Carla come to MedWish twice a week to sort supplies that support our humanitarian aid efforts and Alternative Recycling Program.

Maya is an eager and enthusiastic volunteer and we are so thankful for her dedication to our mission!
