This year is MedWish International's 30th anniversary.
Whether you're new to MedWish or have been part of our efforts since the beginning, we hope you will join us as we mark this exciting milestone. We have a lot planned for 2023 and will be keeping this page updated all year long showcasing our operations, stories from our MedWish family, and ways that YOU can MAKE YOUR MARK!
February feature:
From cleveland to ukraine: one year later
One year ago, Ukrainians woke up to a world of conflict and uncertainty. Millions were displaced from their homes due to the Russian invasion, seeking safety. War had begun.
In February 2022, MedWish International responded to critical medical supply shortages and other basic emergency needs resulting from the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
Since then, MedWish has partnered with 14 organizations coordinating 81 shipments to Ukraine. MedWish has also distributed more than 4,600 pounds of aid locally, to Ukrainians who have relocated to Cleveland.
