Volunteer of the year: meet paulette chambers
Paulette Chambers found out about MedWish International through Neighborhood Connections, one of our Local & Domestic Giving recipient organizations. As peers in the non-profit space, they informed her of some supplies we had available for people in need. From there, Paulette filled out an application for her organization, Helping Hands Dry Bottoms and later made an appointment to pick up and distribute supplies.Â
When picking up supplies, Dan, MedWish International’s Local & Domestic Giving Programs Coordinator, said, “our volunteers are here,” and that sparked something inside her. “I could volunteer and help the people helping me to help others,” she thought.
