chief advancement officer

The Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) plays a critical leadership role in driving the organization’s fundraising and financial strategies. This senior-level position will manage all aspects of the organization’s advancement efforts, ensuring effective strategic fundraising, donor relations, and financial oversight of charitable giving and restricted funds. The CAO will work closely with the CEO, Finance Committee, Advancement Committee, Business Specialist, Communications & Grants Specialist, and Advancement Assistant to meet organizational fundraising goals, ensure proper financial oversight, and advance the organization’s mission.

Community resource Specialist

Reporting to the CEO, the Community Resource Specialist (CRS) plays a key role in connecting MW2 with the community, connecting individuals with social safety net and community resource opportunities, providing Medicaid and health insurance support, promoting clinics, and ensuring patients have access to follow-up care and primary care homes.  To do this, the Community Resource Specialist will be present and active in our community, mainly Cuyahoga County, at events and partner locations, work with soon to be released inmates of the Cuyahoga County Justice Center, and build partnerships with local community organizations.

HR & Finance Specialist (Part-Time)

Reporting to the CEO, the HR & Finance Specialist is responsible for managing the daily administration of MedWish
Medworks, with a focus on finance and human resources.

Communications & Grants Specialist (Part-time)

Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, the Communications & Grants Specialist (CGS) plays a key role in creating compelling communication materials, developing reports for grants, and select grant preparations.  The individual in this position will help draft a variety of content, including press releases, social media posts, cases for support, website language, mass communications, and marketing materials.

Local & Domestic Programs Intern Experience

The purpose of the Local and Domestic Programs Internship is to provide local undergraduate students with valuable work experience in the areas of humanitarian aid, non-profit management, medical science and technology, skill building, and medical supply chain management while serving the specific needs of MedWish Medworks staff, as well as the greater global community. This is an unpaid internship opportunity.

international Programs Intern Experience

The purpose of the International Programs Internship is to provide local undergraduate students with valuable work experience in the areas of international humanitarian aid, non-profit management, international logistics, medical science and technology, research skills, and medical supply chain management, while serving the specific needs of MedWish Medworks staff, as well as the greater global community. This is an unpaid internship opportunity.
