Our Approach

In 2023, MedWish diverted more than 800,000 lbs. of medical surplus from landfills and distributed over 497,000 lbs. of supplies and equipment. These efforts impacted over 1.4 million people across the world.

Get Involved

The large-scale effort MedWish undertakes to deliver urgently needed medical equipment and supplies is built on an infrastructure of incredible supporters: health care systems, logistics partners, volunteers, and stakeholders.

AND THAT’S A WRAP FOR APRIL!

We ended the month with over 27,000 pounds distributed and an estimated 116,000 people served!

Let’s see what’s to come in May...
As we wrap up National Volunteer Month, MedWish would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all who continuously support our mission.

Whether you're donating your time at the warehouse sorting and packing supplies, participating in a brigade trip, serving on the MedWish Board of Directors or a special committee, at a donor location as a Champion, or spending your summer with us as an intern, you are directly supporting the MedWish mission!
To our Skill Building Participants who help break down, count, and sort supply kits, THANK YOU!

Our Skill Building Program empowers individuals with developmental disabilities to learn new skills and work toward their highest level of potential. Not only are they learning new skills but also contributing to the well-being of others, both locally and globally. Our Skill Builders are an integral part of our community and for embodying the spirit of kindness, inclusivity, and hard work.

LOCAL IMPACT DURING EXTRAORDINARY TIMES

The donations of the purewicks and female external catheters were absolutely amazing and I am beyond words grateful. My mother passed away in the comfort of my home. It was with the help of these donations that allowed me to keep her home and in my care as long as I did.
